1. Scope

These terms govern the use of Meteorix, a web service providing meteorological information, analysis, maps and tools.

2. Meteorological information

Meteorix forecasts, alerts, maps, diagnoses and other outputs are for information only and may contain errors, delays or uncertainty. They do not replace official warnings, instructions or communications from the relevant authorities and emergency services.

In dangerous weather conditions, users should always follow instructions issued by the authorities and official sources in their area.

3. Accounts

Some features require an account. Users are responsible for using their accounts lawfully and keeping their credentials secure. Access through external providers, such as Google, is also subject to those providers’ terms.

4. Plans and subscriptions

Meteorix may provide free features and paid plans. The applicable price, billing frequency and features are shown before purchase. Payments and subscription management are handled through Stripe.

Subscriptions renew according to the selected billing period until cancelled. If cancellation is scheduled for the end of a billing period, access continues until the end of the period already paid for.

5. Availability

Meteorix does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every external source will provide data at all times. The service may be modified to improve functionality, security or content.

6. Acceptable use

You must not attempt to compromise service security, gain unauthorised access to features or data, interfere with the service, or use Meteorix in violation of the law.

The processing of personal data is explained in the Meteorix Privacy Policy.
